William Joseph Diggans, Jr., of Claysville, Pa, passed away suddenly on August 11th, 2024. He was born to William and Irma Diggans on January 29th, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pa. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Diggans, with whom he shared a 46-year love story, his daughter Michelle (Andrew) Steimer, and grandchildren, William and Nathaniel. There was never a harder working and devoted family man. Bill was fiercely intelligent and kind with a quick wit that made everyone around him feel safe and loved. He was a master mechanic and fixer of all things including cars, railroad electrical panels, toys, and tiny hearts. He supported his grandsons in all they did and took great joy in spending time being their Pappy and tight buddy. He loved to travel with family, fix the unfixable, and serve those whom he considered to be his world. There was never a father and daughter who loved one another more. Bill and Michelle (Missy) spent endless moments co-creating family adventures, holidays, and projects.
He is preceded in death by his son, William J. Diggans, III, his parents, William and Irma Diggans, and sister, Sheryl Ferro. Also left behind to brokenheartedly mourn his loss are his sister, Patricia Crawford, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. His legacy of kindness and his unwavering support of those he loved will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. This legacy will be continued by his family.
