REV. SANDRA JOAN JORDAN (Young)

Age 74, of Collier Twp., on Wednesday, August 9, 2017.  Beloved wife of Rev. Robert B. Jordan, Jr., for 55 years.  Daughter of late John S. “Jack” Young and Mildred I. Jarvis Young, sister of the late Johnny Young.  Mother of Amy (Joseph) Solomon, Emily (Gary) Toulouse, Virginia (late Edward) Heinzl.  Grandmother of Rebecca, Christopher, Samantha, Michael, Faith Solomon; Paige, Megan, Lauren Toulouse; Benjamin Heinzl and four-legged friend Duncan.  As a lifetime member of Green Tree Chapter #510 Order of Eastern Star, she held the positions of District Deputy and Worthy Matron.  Member Airys Temple No. 48 Daughters of the Nile.  Strong in her faith, she was a former member of Carnegie United Methodist Church as well as having served for many years as secretary of the Bridgeville United Methodist Church.   She later served as pastor to Glenwillard United Methodist Church and Shannopin United Methodist Church for 19 years.  Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 pm Friday at Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home, 524 Washington Ave., Carnegie, where Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11 am.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Glenwillard United Methodist Church, 1328 Main Street, Crescent Township, PA 15046
