Age 96 of Carnegie, on Friday September 20, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Jean Kessler. Loving father of Robert G. Kessler (Linda), Sally K. Schmitt (Joseph), JoAnn K. Craft (late Bill), and Sandra Lee K. Skvarca (Ken). Brother of Edith Paskorz, and the late Maxine Foley, Leonard "Bill" Kessler and John C. "Jack" Kessler. Grandfather of Chris Kessler (Tracie Price Kessler), Anna Kennedy, Joseph Schmitt (Syndi), Matthew Schmitt, Benjamin Skvarca (Mary Beth), Andrew Skvarca (Lauren) and the late Michael Kessler (surviving Tracy Nice Kessler). Also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, Corey Kennedy (Matthew), Noah Schmitt, Trevor Kessler, Felix, Ian and Mabry Schmitt, Cortney Kessler, Saoirse, Evelyn, Matthew, Eleanor, and Austin Skvarca. Bob was a proud US Navy, World War II veteran, a longtime member of the Masonic Order and Past Master of Lafayette Lodge #652 in Carnegie. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8pm on Monday at the Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home, 524 Washington Ave., Carnegie, where a Masonic Service will be held on Monday evening at 7:00pm, and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 11:00am.
