Paul Kovach Obituary

Age 72 of Scott Twp., suddenly on Saturday February 17, 2024; beloved husband of Cindy Kovach.  Brother of Joseph Kovach (Sandy), Rose Marie Walton (late Wayne), and Elizabeth Dziadura (Joseph).  Brother-in-law of James Meehan (Gloria); also survived by five nephews, Jim Kovach, Joe Kovach, Jeffrey Walton, Stanley Dziadura and Jim Meehan; three nieces, Dr. Jessica Walton, Dr. Lindsay Walton and Amanda Tulenko.

Paul worked as a phlebotomist, most notably at EMSI where he celebrated 28 years. Paul married Cindy Meehan in 2001. Together, they enjoyed going on cruises, taking trips to see covered bridges and lighthouses, spending time at their camp in Butler, and decorating both their home and camp for the holidays. Paul was very passionate about projects around the house—especially ones where he could use his creativity to improve their home. He used his skills to build a deck, renovate his downstairs, and build a shed (which he later turned into a garage). He also enjoyed gardening; often sharing tomatoes, pears, peaches, and many other fruits and vegetables with friends and family (at least the ones he didn’t share with the birds!). He enjoyed hosting parties at the house for holidays, sporting events, or for playing card games such as UNO.

Paul will be remembered for his outgoing personality, inquisitive nature, creative problem solving, and above all, his dedication to his wife, Cindy.
