Age 75 of Scott Township on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Husband of Susan (Arbuckle) Gaddis; father of James Gaddis and Tiffany (Chris) Myler; grandfather of Trent Myler. Son of the late Luther Carl Gaddis and Mildon (Wilkins) Gaddis. Brother of Mary Alice (George) Gray, Susan Sheba Wurtsbaugh, and the late Albert, Junior, and Alfosso. Brother-in-law of Kathy (Bill) Antkiewicz, Donna Reinstadtler, Becky Arbuckle, Lee (Carol) Arbuckle and dear friends with Joyce and David Corkery.
Lawrence served in the US Army for more than nine years. During that time he did a one year tour of duty in Vietnam. He was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Gallantry Cross Medal w/Palm, Bronze Star Medal and Expert Badge (M-16 Rifle).
Lawrence was a long-time member of the Church of the Atonement where he invested decades of volunteer work for the church. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Church of Atonement on March 14, 2026 at 11:00am, with a reception immediately following at the Church of the Atonement Episcopal Church, 618 Washington Avenue, Carnegie.
