John A. Long

Age 80, of the Westwood section of Pittsburgh, on Thursday January 5, 2023.  Beloved and devoted husband of 58 years to Margaret A. Long; loving father of Christine Pritchard (Ken), John Long, Jr. (Cathy), and William Long (Clare); brother of the late Walter Long (late Barbara).  Also survived by three grandchildren;  Hannah, Christian and Danielle Long.  John was a retired police officer, serving the City of Pittsburgh for 28 years.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time at his lakehouse at Pymatuning.  No Visitation.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Carnegie Primitive Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 640 Dow Ave., Carnegie, PA 15106
