Age 82, of Canonsburg, died peacefully on Monday at his home, surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Alderson; two sisters, Barbara Kushner and Joyce Kirkwood, and infant twin daughters. Jim was a brick mason for 36 years, employed by Harris Masonry. He loved to hunt and work on their farm, and especially enjoyed traveling with Ellie in their RV across the country. He leaves behind his soulmate and "Love of His Life" Ellie Justice-Murphy, and his life's greatest achievement, his son James Michael (Virginia), two step-children, Gregory Justice, Kimberly (Brian) Conley, and three grandchildren that were the apple of his eyes and the spring in his step, Lauren and Jimmy Alderson and Grayson Conley. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8pm on Wednesday at the Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home, 524 Washington Avenue, Carnegie, where funeral service will be held on Thursday, 10am.
