EDWARD D., M.D.
Age 90, of Clover Leaf Estates West, Collier Twp., PA on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anna (Evans) Radasky; daughter, Jean Ann Radasky; brother, Albert G. Radasky; sister, Bernadine Evanisko and brother, Rev. Robert M. Radasky. He is survived by two sisters, Florence Hlivko of Johnstown, PA and Lorene Teplica of Chicago, IL; daughter, Lynn Ann (John V.) Kulpa of Addison, IL; three granddaughters, Taylor, Jordyn and Chandlyr Kulpa; one great- granddaughter, Aurora Lynn Thomas. Dr. Radasky was a National Honor Society Graduate of the Greater Johnstown (PA) High School in 1944. Following high school, he served in the Army during WWII, after which he attended the University of Pittsburgh. He received a B.S. degree from that university in 1949. In 1953 he received a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, followed by an internship at Pittsburgh’s Western Pennsylvania Hospital. He subsequently studied neuropsychiatry as a resident trainee at the Northwestern University Medical School in Illinois. Dr. Radasky maintained a private practice in Johnstown, PA for many years, followed by employment at various Commonwealth of PA and Veterans Administration Hospitals, including the Highland Drive VA Medical Center and Woodville State Hospital. He was a lifetime member of the American Medical Association and a past member of the American Psychiatric Association. No visitation.
