Barbara Jean Remster

Barbara Jean Remster passed away January 8, 2018, at Wesleyan Village, Elyria Ohio, where she resided for eight years.  Born in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, she was 83.  Barbara graduated from Swissvale High School.  She was a 25 year employee of the State of Pennsylvania, working in various state hospitals in the Pittsburgh area.  Living in Carnegie most of her life, she resided at Sunrise Assisted Living, Greentree, prior to moving to Wesleyan Village in Elyria, Ohio.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Ora B. and Loretta J. (nee Pioth) Remster.  She is survived by her brother Walter Remster of Fort Myers, Florida, nephews Eric (Susan) Remster, Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Tim (Dawn) Remster, Zanesville, Ohio, and niece Lisa (Bob) Krejci, Florence, Kentucky.  Graveside service and burial will be Monday, January 15, 2018, 1:00 pm, at Smithfield Cemetery, Pittsburgh.  Funeral arrangements were handled by Henney, Bradwell, & Nirella Funeral Home, Carnegie, Pa.
