Alexander A. Corra, Sr.

Age 90, of Carnegie on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  Beloved husband of the late Catherine "Betty" Corra; loving father of Alexander Corra, Jr. (girlfriend Barbara Myers), and Michael Corra.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his twin sister, Blanche Beury.  Also survived by one grandson Matthew Corra and many nieces and nephews.  Mr. Corra was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving his country proudly during the period of the Korean War.  He was an active member of St. Raphael the Archangel Parish, attending mass and participating in the parish Faith Sharing Group weekly until he became physically unable to do so.  He was a life member of the NRA, and a member of Knights of Columbus, Council #11143.  Special thanks to his friend Tom Beyer for all that he did for him, and to the nurses from Concordia that cared for him in his final years.  Visitation and funeral service will be held privately.  Arrangements entrusted to the Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home, 524 Washington Ave., Carnegie.
