Robert J. "Bob" "Bobby" Davis

Robert J. "Bob" "Bobby" Davis, age 60 of Surprise, AZ, formerly of Carnegie on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.  Dearly beloved son of Virginia and the late Sam Davis; loving brother of Denise, Tim (Marianne) and Bill (Charlotte) Davis.  Loving uncle of Becki (Scott) Lewis, Art (Danielle) Davis and Trenton Davis.  Loving great uncle of Ana, Addie, Sammy and Ezra Lewis, and Bryce Davis. 

Bob grew up on Cubbage Hill and graduated from Carlynton High School in the class of 1979.  He worked for Budget Rent A Car for many years.  He then owned his own Budget Rent A Car franchises in Pittsburgh and Erie.  Bob lived in many different places over the years including Phoenix, Columbiana, SC, Los Angeles, Denver, Seattle, Erie, Bridgeville, and most recently Surprise. Despite his many moves, Bob was always an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguin fan!

Besides immediate family, Bob leaves behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, godchildren, and many many friends.  He was very loving and generous and left an impression on everyone who knew him.  One of Bob’s defining characteristics was his faith.  He was a lifelong member of the Catholic Church, and he shared the love of Jesus with many family members and friends.  Although Bob will leave behind a huge void for many, his legacy of love, devotion, generosity, hard work, and faith will live on in the lives of those who love him.
