On Sunday, September 3, 2023, Christopher J. Fischbach, age 70 of Scott Township passed on to his eternal rest. Son of the late Charles Jacob and Marilyn (Fridley) Fischbach. Best friend and loving husband of Carol (Kaupinis) Fischbach. Loving father of Craig, Christopher (Michele), Ryan (Alicia), Brandon, and the late Jeffrey Fischbach. Pappy of Madison Lang, Mila, Makena, Melina and Marlea Fischbach. Grandfather of Cassidy, CJ, Colton and Madison Fischbach. Brother of Chuck (Terry), Sue (Pat) Culver, Kim (Larry) Farris, Jim (Kathy), Scott (Laura) and the late Phil Fischbach. Godfather of the late Kevin Dalby. Uncle of numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Survived by numerous brothers in law and sisters in law as well. Chris was proud and passionate of the many years that he spent coaching his sons and others in basketball and baseball and continued coaching alongside his good friend Tom Castello for many years after. Chris lived by the motto, once a Marine always a Marine. OORAH! Chris you were the most loving, kind, and compassionate husband, father and Pappy anyone could want. You had so much joy in your heart for all of us. I will miss you asking me everyday, "Have I told you how much I love you?" I have loved you for forty years, and that love will never die, so this isn't goodbye, it's just see you later Hon. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9pm Thursday at Henney, Bradwell & Nirella Funeral Home, 524 Washington Ave., Carnegie, where Blessing Service will be held Thursday evening.
