Carmen Pinto Obituary

Age 70, of Imperial, PA. She was the beloved wife for 47 years of John W. "Jack" Pinto. Carmen was born on September 1, 1950, to the late Joe and Josephine "Fina" Diaz of Langeloth, PA. In addition to her husband, Carmen is survived by her loving sister, Denise Jacobs, brother-in-law, Robin Jacobs, sister-in-law, Nancy Pinto, dear friend, Deborah Rudar, cousins, Eugene "Geno" Borio, Ronald "RJ" Diaz, Rick Diaz, Mickey Filipponi, Danny Filipponi, Albina (Filipponi) McGrane, Rosemary Orenchuk, Rose Ann Massengill and a number of other cousins and close friends. Carmen graduated from Union High School, Burgettstown, PA in 1968 and immediately enrolled in Duff's Business School, Pittsburgh, PA. She was an extremely organized person at every function she performed and was an excellent typist. Prior to graduating from Duff's Business School, she was detailed to the law firm of Reed Smith Shaw & McClay (RSSM), Pittsburgh, PA as an intern/trainee. Shortly thereafter, RSSM offered her a full-time position in the secretarial pool and subsequently a secretarial position for a partner in the firm. In the late 1970's, she resigned from RSSM deciding to become a full-time homemaker. In the mid 1980's, she returned to part-time work in the Human Resources Department at Ohio Valley General Hospital, Kennedy Township, PA. Upon leaving OVGH, she returned to being a full-time homemaker and, in the process, cared for her mother, Fina, John's mother, Catherine, and other relatives. Carmen was dedicated to her family and willingly took on any challenge as it surfaced. She is profoundly missed by her husband and family.
